R.I.P. JERMAINE
Comment by Antwoine C. Freeman on January 28, 2009 at 2:32pm
It's been years since myself and family saw Jermaine. We meet him in the YABA league as kids. He was a little bit older than my brother and myself but he was always down to earth and a good dude. I was shocked when my brother told me the news of his untimely death but I know he is in a better place right now. Best wishes to him and his family. "My GOD BLESS HIS SOUL" The Freeman's send their condolences.

My heart was saddened with the news about Jermaine. I saw him at bowling on Friday night at Suburban and he seemed in a quiet spirit. This was hard for me to believe. My sons and I met Jermaine in the youth bowling (YABA) league at their young ages and continued in the adult bowling leagues. Our prayers are with you Rose and your entire family doing this time. Just know that GOD is still with you and HE will see you through. Always keep your hands in GOD's hands and HE will continue to strenghten you always. Yvonne & Sons (Scottie & Sedrik).

Twister your spirit, unending love to excel, your competitiveness and devotion for all you loved will truly be missed and never duplicated. I've known you for more than half of your life and watched you grow from a teenager into a man. You had your own way and we who knew you understood and respected you for that. Jermaine we had many talks about various topics much of which was bowling. (Your true love). Although we didn't always agree you were always willing to see and respect the other point of view. There are no words that can ease the pain I feel right now, there are no explanations that will ever help me to understand why, but I believe in a God who through his wisdom never ever makes mistakes. I pray for your mother, sister, and child. I also pray for all of us who loved you and will miss all that "makes you Jermaine." The following passage is for all of us who will miss you and love you. Lamentations 3. 31 For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. I will never forget you my brother, my friend. I know that you've found rest in the arms of the almighty. We are all made better because you.... RIP

Jermaine, Rest in peace my buddy. Pat and I are going to miss you. You left us much too soon, a victim of our violent society. Peace my brother. Thanks for your love.

Jermaine it's still hard to believe you are really gone. I had the pleasure meeting you two years ago at a bowling tournament. Each time after then you would greet me with a smile and a hug and the routine was still the same even on your last Friday here on earth. Jermaine you will be truly missed and you will always have a place in my heart. Here are my last words to you...
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.
