Bowling an 800 without the benefit of a 300 game!

I think that bowling an 800 series without having a 300 game in the series is better, than one with a 300 game! What does everybody else,think?

    I have had a few 800's where I didn't shoot over 280. I figure if you throw 30 strikes in a series, you shoot 800. That's how it has worked for me anyways.

    All 800's feel good when you shoot them with or without a 300 in that set

    Done it both ways, it's harder without the 300. I'm like barry i'll take em either way. But then again there is two award scores with the 300.
