i got 2 800 bro

i wanna know what everyone is throwing? and what they like or dis like about some bowling balls out there

I think that bowling an 800 without a 300 is better because i feel that a person doesnt have the added pressure of other bowlers expecting you to shoot 800 after a 300 game you can stay relaxed and focused. I have had 5 800's, four of which didn't have the benefit of a 300 game.

Bowled my first 800 in 2004, a week before going to nationals. Three months later did it again, both times without a 300 game. (Never had bowled a sanctioned 300) In April of 2008, shot 811 with my first sanctioned 300. The last game was the 300, needless to say I was very nervous on the twelth ball. I owe a lot of my success in bowling to my friend and mentor Mike Waters for working with me to get my game to where it is.

is there any other women in this 800 club? I would like to say hi, and say congrats you ARE an elite. there are not very many of us women out there for this award expecially old school.
I had my first 800 in 1993(urithane SUMMO drilled straight over lable, I did not have a 300 with it, i had not had any 300 s until 1994 then around 1998 i think, mabe 97 I had 803, but it wasn't until 2001 i had 844 now that one had a 300 almost 2 back to back I left a 7 pin in 11th frame.

Shot my first 800 series. At the end of my 6th year of bowling I finally achieved one of my goals, without throwing a 300 game. 297,257,266, for 820. This was by far the hardest achievement and obtainable goal a bowler can do other than winning a tournament. At 49 years old WOW! That was an amazing Night!!! Wish I would have picked up this sport earlier in life. I would like to know where I would be today with 20 + years under my belt.

I've shot 19 800's and a majority of them don't have a 300 game in there

 

Shot my first 800 last night! 244, 289, 279 - 812! What an awesome feeling achieving such an accomplishment in such a short period of time!
