Just so hard to believe that a great person has left us. He was there when you needs someone to talk to and even tell you if you were in the wrong. The last two meeting we had, I was outside myself and the next day I came in and we had a heart to heart, thank you for the words of wisdom

While I`m at an overall loss for words, just want to say --what a guy!, always there, always ready to provide the kind words, the friendship, the loyalty,...I will always remember SLOAN.....

Ron will be greatly missed, his strong will, his determination to make you see how an idea he had would work. How you needed to do this to make this work, that was Ron. The way he talk junk to you but be serious at the same time. We will miss Ron. Unbelievable, God needed a new soldier and Ron was chosen. RIP Ron we will all miss your presence but never forget who you were to us all.

Where does one begin. How can one put into words a person's personality or presence. We will miss his voice. We will miss the way he was a friend and competitor to each and everyone of us. I know I will miss the man that had every matching Kangol for every color shirt he wore, facing backwards (his trademark). We will miss everything that made Ronald Sloan Sr.......SLOAN

There are not enough words for this ... But I can crown Sloan as the Godfather of bowling for me. He was the very first person I met in the bowling world at Embassy Row and he told me the who's who and the who not's. Sloan was a bowling alley fixture that can not be replaced and will always be remembered.
