REALBOWLERS Golf outing

I was wondering since so many of you guys play golf, how about next season we get with a golf course here and reserve some tee times and have a golf outing. We could coordinate it with whatever weekend is convenient for everyone and maybe have a cookout afterward. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Ok, right now mark your calendars for May 23rd "1st Annual RealBowlers Golf Outing". That is the Saturday before Memorial Day and we will have a bowling tournament on that Sunday, May 24th.
We are still trying to find a good location. I am open to any suggestions.

It depends on where the tournament is. Do you know where it is going to be yet? I know we will have varying skill levels so nothing too tough. Depending on what part of the city it is in it might make more sense to have the outing not too far from the bowl.

If you don't think that's very important here are a few suggestions that balance value, condition, and a playable layout.

Marietta area - Marietta City Course
West Atlanta (towards Villa Rica) - The Frog, Oak Mountain
East Atlanta (Conyers area) - The Oaks
South Atlanta - Fayetteville City course (it's under a different name now)
North Atlanta - Lanier Country Club

There are tons of others, but those are just a few. If you let me know what part of town you're thinking I'll get a short list together and research some prices. If we have an idea of how many are playing we could possibly get a group rate.

Is anyone a scratch golfer? whats your Handicap? I'm a 9, but I'm a 15 if we are playing for money(lol).
