About Us:

About Us:

RealBowlers Tour (RBT) is sponsored by McNair Entertainment Inc., a company based out of Atlanta, GA dedicated to providing the very best in tournament bowling. The goal of RBT is to revolutionize bowling in the United States and cater to the bowlers who are serious about the game.

Brothers, Theo and Tim McNair of Atlanta, GA founded McNair Entertainment Inc. in the summer of 2004. Their vision was to change the landscape of bowling by bringing a fresh and innovative approach to how bowling is operated and viewed. The McNairs love and passion for bowling is what drives them to continue to develop a product that the serious bowler wants.

From their 20+ years of exposure in the sport of bowling, they found there is a lack of quality tournaments that guarantee the money bowlers want.  Bowlers want quality, competitive, and organized events that are not hundreds of miles away. McNair Entertainment believes it has delivered just that -- “Real Tournaments for Real Bowlers.”

The RBT is not just a series of bowling events, it’s a movement. The RealBowlers Tour is committed to promoting the sport of bowling to as many people as possible and will continue to bring the absolute best in tournament bowling.

RBT will "Change the Game".

WELCOME TO REALBOWLERS!

ATTENTION BOWLERS!!!

This notice is to inform you that the RBT DeFreitas Weekend 2016 and all affiliated events scheduled for August 20th and 21st are CANCELLED. Like you, we were excited about this event and were in the final stages of our preparations. However, insufficient bowler participation and critical unforeseen circumstances force us to make this very difficult decision. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause you and hope you will understand this unfortunate turn of events. We truly appreciate all the support and understanding you have shown RealBowlers and we are forever grateful. We will issue refunds in the next two days for those who made payments. Thanks again and best of luck to all.

The 20th Annual Eric DeFreitas Scratch Classic presented by Storm capped off an incredible weekend of competitive bowling in the south. The weekend showcased the talent of over 200 bowlers that represented every state in the southern region. Our goal for this weekend was to give the bowling community a series of events that were fun and competitive. We also wanted those that participated to get an opportunity to fellowship and network, because this is what will strengthen the foundation of the bowling family on so many levels.

The weekend started 9:00 AM Saturday morning, with the BOOM Apparel Ladies and Seniors Scratch Eliminator. This event drew 76 bowlers, Brian Voss and Vanina Carlton won the $1000 first place prizes in their perspective events.

Immediately after the Eliminators at 3:30pm, the RBT hosted our 2nd Annual Bowler's Appreciation Networking Expo an event that for the first time in the Atlanta area brought out the top brands in bowling, giving the bowling public a chance to meet, greet, and sample the products of these great companies. Thanks to Storm, RotoGrip, Radical, Brunswick, DV8, MOTIV, Hammer, Ebonite, Columbia 300 and Track for all being apart!
The participants had a great time and the networking forged new connections for vendors and the consumer.

Then, at 7:30 PM Saturday evening, we hosted the Stability Strikes 4 Game Sweeper which drew 92 bowlers. AJ Rice of Salem, AL won that event. We also gave away bowling balls and others prizes at every event, which was our way of showing gratitude for the support we receive from the bowling community.

The final event of the weekend was the Eric DeFreitas Scratch Classic which drew an impressive 154 bowlers. This was a one day tournament that paid $4000 for first and 33 individuals cashed. BJ Moore of Raleigh, NC won that event.

RealBowlers thanks each and everyone that had a hand in making this a successful weekend. We especially thank every participant that came out and showed support...we do this for YOU!! Be on the lookout for more to come from RealBowlers. Bowling is Alive!!!

Well the RBT 20th Annual Eric DeFreitas Scratch Classic is in the books. First we would like to thank the 154 bowlers that came from near and far to make this an incredible event, your participation made this one of the largest one day bowling events on the east coast. We could not ask for a better field of bowlers, we wholeheartedly appreciate the support shown for this event and the RBT.
Also a BIG thank you to Junction Lanes and their awesome staff for allowing us to host our events the entire weekend. The service and accommodation was second to none, kudos to management and the wonderful staff for blowing us away with tremendous service from start to finish.
A special thanks to our sponsors STORM Bowling and Bowler's Express Pro Shops for being a HUGE part of the success of this event and the entire weekend. Your contributions and presence speaks volume to the great companies you are.

The RBT Eric DeFreitas Scratch Classic started with 154 of the best bowlers in the southeastern region competing on a challenging 39ft pattern. The scoring pace was medium low and spare shooting was a premium. The field of 154 bowled 7 games and was then cut in half to 77 to bowl 4 additional games. After the total 11 games the field was cut to the top 5 for stepladder finals. The top 5 were:
#1 BJ Moore
#2 Rob Gotchall
#3 Logan Joiner
#4 Tom Daughtery
#5 Erik Ramos

In the stepladder finals Tom Daughtery defeated Erik, Logan, and Rob where he would succumb to eventual champion BJ Moore. All 5 stepladder finalist bowled tremendous and the spectators in attendance were entertained by the talent and showmanship of these great bowlers.
The top 31 bowlers of this stout field cashed, in addition to the top senior and lady out of the cash. This event caps off the 2013-2014 season for the REALBOWLERS TOURS. The DeFreitas is always the final event of year for the RBT...just want our supporters to know that we appreciate everyone of you. Your participation in our events are not taken lightly, and we will continue to do everything in our power to give you quality, competitive events you can be proud to be a part of.
Also wanted to thank BOOM Apparel and Stability Strike Socks for being big supporters of the RBT, we can't say "thank you" enough to these great friends and companies. Support them...great products and great people.
Thank you!!!

The 41 bowlers in attendance rolled 5 games of qualifying on a 37ft pattern. We then cut the field in half, and those bowlers rolled three additional games. After the total 8 games we cut to the top 8 for seeded match play. The top 8 were:
1. Aj Rice
2. Mac Sanders
3. April Watts(Shawn McKee)
4. Connor Pickford
5. Nathaniel Potter
6. Ken Simard
7. David Shinn
8. Philipp Hudak

First round, AJ Rice defeated Philipp Hudak, Nathaniel Potter defeated Connor Pickford, Shawn McKee defeated Ken Simard, and David Shinn defeated Mac Sanders to all advance to the second round. In the second round, AJ defeated Nathaniel 247-188 and Shawn McKee defeated David 247-191.

That set up AJ Rice versus Shawn McKee in the title match. The title match was closely contested the first five frames, with both guys throwing the ball extremely well. AJ however strung together 5 strikes in finishing the match to win 258-226. Both guys bowled exceptional all day to arrive to this point and in the end AJ was crowned our champion. AJ won the title and the $1200.00 first place prize. Shawn takes home $550.00 for finishing runner-up.
What an exciting conclusion to great day of competitive bowling.

Also, a special thank you to our sponsors STORM Bowling and Bowlers Express Pro Shop for their unbelievable support of the RBT. Thanks to Jay Brewer of Stability Strikes for stopping through to support this event.

The official results will be posted on our website later tonight. Thank you for your attention!!

Wow!! The championship match was one for the RBT history book. Stoney Baker, Kyle Hartzell, and Lee Vanderhoef put on a clinic for the large crowd of spectators, exchanging strikes in succession. The bowler with the highest score would be our champion, only problem is... Kyle and Lee finished tied at 247 each and Stoney 238. We had a 9th and 10th frame roll off and in the end Lee Vanderhoef stood victorious winning the RBT 2014 Season Kick Off Event. Congrats to all of these guys for capping off an exciting event in dramatic fashion. Kyle was runner-up and Stoney finished 3rd.

The RBT thanks the total 85 bowlers and numerous spectators that traveled from near and far to make this an event to remember, we appreciate your commitment and support of the RBT.

A special thanks to Ralph Solan and STORM Bowling our season long ball sponsor for their continued support. Also to Johnnie Jackson-Bowlers Express Pro Shop and Jay Brewer-Stability Strike Performance Socks for their contributions to RBT and our loyal supporters. Thanks also to the management staff at Your Bowling Center Douglasville for excellent service and hospitality as always.

The next RBT event is the 8th Annual Super Bowl Scratch Eliminator, Sunday, February 2nd at AMF Marietta Lanes.

SENIOR BOWLERS!!!

This season we are introducing a new element to our events. Our desire has always been to add beneficial components in our tournaments to give more bowlers an opportunity to succeed. SENIOR (50 years old and up) bowlers have been a valuable part of what we do since day one, and we want to continue to incorporate their presence while giving them an opportunity to win a significant cash prize in the process.

This desire compelled us to design an all-new Seniors Division. It is a separate tournament within our regular event that's only for seniors, competing with a separate prize fund. The entry is a little lower than the open division and the first place prize and payout will be based on participation. The format is simple, the senior with the highest pin fall at the end of qualifying is the winner. The cash ratio is 1:5.

Seniors can compete in the Seniors Only $80 or both divisions a total of $160 which is the entry minus the Linage and Expense for main division.

We are sure that this will give our senior bowlers an opportunity to compete and enjoy the RBT experience.

Seniors, we look forward to seeing you THIS Sunday, January 5th at YBC in Douglasville, Georgia. Registration is at 9 am and bowling start at 10 am.
See you then!!

The 19th Annual Eric DeFreitas Scratch Classic presented by Storm capped off an incredible weekend of competitive bowling in the south.

The weekend started with the McCorvey's Pro Shop Ladies and Seniors Scratch Eliminator. This event drew 76 bowlers, Joe German and Becky Sulligan won their perspective events. Then immediately after that event, the RBT host our 1st Annual Bowler's Appreciation Networking Expo which is a event that brought in some of the top brands in bowling, giving the bowling public a chance to meet, greet, and sample the products of these great companies. The participants had a great time and the networking forged new connections for vendors and the consumer.
Then later that evening we hosted the Stability Strikes 4 Game Sweeper which drew 68 bowlers. Daniel Spink won that event. We also gave away Storm bowling balls and others prizes at every event, which was our way of showing gratitude for the support we receive from the bowling community.

The final event of the weekend was the Eric DeFreitas Scratch Classic which drew an impressive 145 bowlers. This was a one day tournament that paid $4000 for first and 31 individuals cashed. Aj Rice won that event.

RealBowlers thank each and everyone that had a hand in make this a successful weekend. We especially thanks every participant that came out and showed support...we do this for YOU!! Be on the look out for more to come from RealBowlers. Bowling is Alive!!!

As many of you know, the RBT participated in the 2013 Ace Mitchell All-Star Team Challenge. This event was Friday, July 12th at the 64 lanes, Beaver Vu Bowling Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. The Team Challenge was part of the 2013 Proprietors Cup Weekend, which also included the Mega-Bucks singles event that drew 128 of the best bowlers in the country and paid out $15,500 to the winner. Event organizer, Billy Eysoldt worked his vision of a high stakes, bowling event to perfection, as this exciting, weekend was well organized and had the bowling industry abuzz. Mike Flanagan and the InsideBowling.com team were on hand to professionally live stream the events in its entirety, and did an excellent job capturing the essence of the weekend.

The Ace Mitchell All-Star Team Challenge drew 64, five person teams comprised with some of the best talent in the country, shooting for the $7,500 first place prize. The RBT fielded "Team RealBowlers" composed of Greg Black Jr., Isom Hawes III, AJ Rice, Shawn Maldonado and Jake Washington, to bowl this ultra competitive event.
Each of these guys, as with all of the bowlers in this event, are great bowlers with tons of honor scores and tournament wins individually. The challenge with all team sports is meshing individual talent and ability together, with chemistry and heart to win at a high level. This team did just that, and won the Ace Mitchell Team Challenge with a score of 4422, three regular games and three baker games.

The RBT wants to recognize these guys for their awesome achievement and great bowling on a huge stage. Thank you for representing yourselves, your respective cities, and REALBOWLERS very well. We are all proud…CONGRATULATIONS!!

Bowling Is Alive!!!

 _____________________________________________________

Hello Bowlers!!! The theme for the RBT 2013 season is "BOWLING IS ALIVE!!".
What does that mean to us?? This short blurb summarizes it...please read with an open mind.
"Where is bowling?  Is it what it use to be?  Is it a sport or activity?  House shot, sports shot?  Yada, yada, yada!!  We can go back and forth with the theories, rants, complaints, comparisons, opinions, and the gloom and doom prognostications.
Where will it get us?  What good will it do?  We can place blame, finger point or even walk away... What are YOU going to do?  Walk away from the sport you love?  Turn a blind eye?  What are WE going to do??  Stand up and fight?  Can you believe?
Can you support, teach, promote, participate, improve, and/or elevate?  Yes, yes you can!!  Is there a pulse?  Yes!!  Is the love still there??  Yes!! Let's feed it, let's love it, let's grow it...BOWLING IS ALIVE!!!

Congratulations to Quantrelle Luvnlife Lusane-Green for winning the 6th Annual SOMETHING 4 the LADIES Scratch Singles Tournament. She won the title, $1200.00, and the coveted RBT trophy.
