- Last average 213 (3 years ago)- started bowling again in the summer league. This season (2013-14) I bowled in a difficult house finishing strong (averaging 213 for the last half of the season) I raised my average to 205 the highest in our league and in the top 3 or 4 in the house ( three others average 206 with 2 weeks left for them).

My thought process of aiming.

I have noticed a lack of material on what is going on in the mind of a bowler when he selects his target and his aiming process. I have had to develop my own system which is probably not all inclusive. Since the ball is set down about 5 or 6 boards to the right of a right-handers ankle at release; I started aiming my big toe 5 boards to the left of my intended board of delivery. Out the Gate is Game 1 and Cut the Field is an Eliminator Pot for games 1-3, starting game one if there are 20 in, the top 10 makes it to game 2, after 2 gms the top 5 then the top 3 would cash out of those 5 for Game 3.
