I just recently came to Atlanta and bowled the ABA and could not understand why there was not anyone there. Many people complain about not having tournaments to bowl and when 1 shows up people get scared. Just shows that still many bowlers love to talk and still would rather watch than bowl. Like a friend that made one of my shirts SHOE UP OR SHUT UP. And those who respond, please dont give me the handicap riff!!!! B/c if you where all srcatch bowlers, you would be in Bama or Tenn. bowling there. Other than that nice to meet you all. Oh ya, and McNair Bros., I am the guy who called you a year ago to ask about flyers to pas around here in columbia. Never got them? You send them and you got 20 more bowlers.

Chris..I remember bowling your tournament now.....and I remember the bracket issue. We did get it square the next week or two though...totally my fault there.

As for some action, just send me a pm or post here when you want to set it up..I'm pretty much free on the weekends right now so I'm available. And I can't speak for the guys from Atlanta, I do know they bowl Sunday nights and will definitely give you some action as well.

Back to the original post.....if you are on your game, the hdcp side can be beat if you are a scratch bowler. Very challenging shot...and you have a chance at 25x your entry fee...not many can offer that anymore. I was successful for a little while basically bowling scratch, so it can be done. Support your local tourneys if you can..this way they keep coming back and there will always be something to bowl.

LOL......

"... but when I do venture out I run chumps like you over. If I do bowl a rare tourney nowadays I'm definitely not going to give some douchebag like you 30 pins so you can throw some hook in a box all over the place and talk s#@t about it.

You should leave your buddy "handicap" at home before you start talking about "shoe up or shut up".
which center on sunday nights I wil happily make the drive, they are trying to get a sweeper here on mondays but its 30 bucks for only maybe 15 bowlers, but tues they pot bowl at royal z lanes about 9 pm and the center takes care of us by only charging a dollar a game. just let me know. I am going to the sand bagging capital sat to NC to bowl the queen bee for some scratch brackets. Hopefully this weekend they will have more than 12 scratch per squad.

Yall, have to have no job like me to read all this crap and type it all out too! Geez......

only thing I have on this is that I was looking forward to bowling better and more tournaments in ATl but was really disappointed. Alot of the bowlers here are scared of sports shot, the only people that have a chance at making money are the people running them, and the formats dont make a lot of sense.
