HAMMER STAFFER ROLLS 870 HIGH SERIES WITH THE STING

Hammer bowling amateur staff member Quantrelle Lusane-Green recently bowled her highest series using the Black Widow Sting.

On her first night of bowling this league season, Green surpassed her previous series high of 801 by 69 pins for an 870 on Sept. 27, 2010 at Suburban Lanes in Decatur, Ga., while substituting on The Big Money League, she said.

“I was in total disbelief,” she said. “I just kept saying this is unbelievable. My husband was there, which made it even more special for me.”

Green used the Black Widow Sting because it gave her a better look with what the lanes were giving her, she said. .

“I practiced with the Hammer Swagga, which I only have approximately four games with, and I had a decent look” Green said. “After the second frame, I went to the Sting and that was the ball for the entire night. The Sting performed great, I basically played the same line all night without making many adjustments.”

An avid Hammer equipment user since 2007, this is Green’s first year on staff with the company.

“I am just so thankful for people that support me day in and day out,” she said. “I would like to thank my husband, De’Mon Green, my family, Tony Haynes at RAH Pro Shop, my friends and especially Hammer. I have dedicated this series to my sons, Devin and Cameron Green.”
