Thanks to all of the bowlers that came out today and bowled in the RBT Marietta Scratch Open.
Congratulations to Shawn Mckee for winning his first RBT title.
Thanks to the staff at AMF Marietta Lanes for hosting us.
Thanks to the RBT staff for all of your hardwork.

Thanks to all of the ladies that came out and competed with the men you all added a breath of fresh air to the tournament. I believe that's why the scores were high because the men were trying to impress the women :)

As a relative newcomer to the sport of bowling I am perplexed. Most bowlers ask for things that they really don't want. They want to score, but don't want others to do the same. They want challenging conditions, but when confronted with those conditions, they complain. They want open conditions, but complain about them as well. If I took a bowler's approach to baseball, when i could not get a hit, I'd:

1.Buy a new bat - must be the bat, right!
2. I'd complain that the mound was higher for me than the other hitters
3. I'd say i'm not playing in (insert your own name) ballpark 'cause i never hit there.
4. Complain that other hitters have illegal bats, which is the reason for their success.
5. Quit in the middle of the game because all the 'inferior' players are hitting better than me.

I'd do everthing except get a coach, practice and learn to hit!

These guys do something that no one else is doing, enjoy it and support them, don't hinder their efforts. That is what is partially wrong with bowling today.

Way to go McNair brothers!
Hey Charles I feel you there. I'm trying to start bowling more of these tournaments. I did notice that once we took the brake and came and bowled the last 3 games the lanes changed dramatically and it caused some of the bowlers up top to come backwards!! I appreciated that!! lol. I do appreciate RBT for running a well organized tournament and look forward to bowling better and finishing higher. I'm going to have to start earning my respect down here in Atlanta!!!! I will say the shot wasn't tough as the last one I bowled on in that house but I also threw the ball better because I've been at it for a season now. Hope to see you in Alabama!!!!

Tim and Theo I have a suggestion. Why is there a field cut when they are not garanteed to cash? I was thinking that some bowlers start slow and get better as the lanes open up. I feel if there isn't a cut until you get to the top 8 because some of the guys may want to play brackets after loosing money early in brackets because they feel more comfortible with the lanes. I just wanting to put my 2 cents in and express my oppinion abou the matter.
all i got to say is wow wow wow if it aint one thing its another .

keep up good wrk Tim and Theo
