Well fellaz, it has come down to this. There are only 4 teams still standing, the Eagles, Cards, Steelers and Ravens. I believe Cynthia from Richmond, VA predicted all four correct teams and she showed us all that the ladies know a thing or two about football. Who will be the two teams in the Superbowl????????? My prediction is........Cardinals and Steelers. Stop laughing about the Cards, they are for real......they have offensive weapons and a relentless post-season defense(noticed i said post-season) because no one saw this "D" all season. The Steelers will take down the Ravens they have hit there groove and look unstoppable. Those are my picks........WHO YOU GOT????????

For all you Cardinal doubters they just beat the Eagles 32-25.......i'm not going to say "I told you so" but i did.:) The Eagles showed alot of poise in coming back in the 2nd half and making a game of it. The Cards however showed more poise in withstanding the run the Eagles made and put them away like good teams do. Now its time to get ready for the second game, the Steelers will spank the Ravens and show the world that Flacco is indeed a rookie in need of a little more experience before he's for the big stage.........stay tuned.
Well Tim, looks like you are the only one still alive in this discussion. And, you know I am not buying you a Longhorn gift card :)) Now let's see if your final prediction is right.
Im still going with the Cardinals as the Super Bowl winners.
Nick, it looks like you and i were the only logical thinking NFL playoff analyist that gave the Cardinals a chance. My feeling after watching them in that wildcard game was this is a team that is well put together. They have all the weapons to make a run at the SUPERBOWL. I've always been impressed with Kurt Warner, he's a winner......his team feeds off of him, they trust him, he's been to the promise land and they want to experience it as well. With that said, my gut feeling is the Steelers will take care of business in the SuperBowl. Big Ben is the heart and soul of that team, if Hine Ward comes back at least 80% healthy the Cards are in big trouble. I cant see the Cards stopping Willie Parker.....he's a beast in big games. The Steelers to me, have to many Big Game players on both sides of the ball. Guys with valuable SuperBowl experience. That #1 rated D is going to be the big factor in that game. I give the Cards a slim chance at a upset if they knock Ben out of the game and shut down Parker.....if they do that, they may have a chance.......a ssllliimmmm chance. Who knows anything can happen between now and then but i'm putting my money on the Steelers. Stay tuned.
Valid point Tim but however as i stated before the conference championship game Warner does very well against a heavy pass rush. If they run the ball with some effectiveness they have a legitmate chance.I know what everyone is saying, the second half Philly shut them down, well thats not totally true. Arizona changed their strategy in the 2nd half. If they had kept their foot on the gas in the 2nd half and continued to be aggressive with the play calling they would have scored acouple more times.
Reguardless the outcomethis is the Superbowl fans have been waiting to see, the leagues best offense against the leagues best defense. Maybe it be the answer to the age old question which is better offese or defense.
