The new addition to the Heat series is a great peice. I have found that i can play all parts of the lane with this ball. I drilled mine a little stonger to allow it to pick up mid lane a bit earlier. I used a 5x3 drill pattern with this one putting the pin above fingers and the cg kicked out a bit. I put the weight hole straight accross from my center of grip 5 5/8. This kept it in a smooth roll without it being jerky off the spot. I like to drill more smooth patterns. The Heat Solid is a smooth transitioning ball through the front and mid part of the lane still keeping a strong motion off the back end. The solid brings the break point closer to you than the hybrid or pearl heats. I love the way this ball controls the lane for you. It doesnt skid to far and doesn't pick up super early. This is an absolutly perfect addition to the Heat line. Way to go Storm! Another Home Run!
