WHERE'S YOUR SUPPORT??? Who or what is your support system with your bowling? Where's your motivation?

As a bowler, life can be a little complicated at times. We commit as adults to a sport that demands alot of our time (evenings and weekends in leagues and tournaments), money (bowling dues, equipment, side action, etc), and attention. I know sometime it can be a bit overwhelming and you may have even quit a time or two.......but you are still at it. Whats your motivation that keep you bowling? What i want to hear about is who or what inspires you with your bowling? What drives you to keep at it? It could be a personal internal motivation, a role model, coach, parent, (here's a tough one.....companion:0) ) you name it. Let's hear it!!!! WHERE'S YOUR SUPPORT OR MOTIVATION COMING FROM?????? The competition and I still have not reached my goal. I love the sport also. I almost gave up bowling bout 3 or 4 moths ago when I put out alot of money to fix my work truck. I also wasnt feeling like i could hang out there with the big boys. What keeps me motivated is that I will never give up on my dream. I am more siked bout bowling now than I have ever been in my life. Also what keep me driving for my goal is I will always do this sport for the fun never for the money. I dont take this game like a job but as a sport. It takes alot of stress off of me. The motivation comes from me trying to accomplish something ive been trying to do for 14 years and I will do whatever it takes to do that.

My motivation is pure competition with my self. Bowling and golf are the only sports where you really compete against yourself. The joy of getting better is what drives me. you can throw 18 gutter balls in a row and want to quit, then strike out the tenth and you are reeled back in by the dream of shooting that perfect game.
