I believe that my second 300 was harder than the first. It was harder because i wanted it to be true that i was a good bowler and it had been two years since my first.

true but also you have been in that position before because of the first one. I believe the first is harder than the second
My first 300 was harder than the first, because I wanted it so bad. I had shot 3 299 and a host of 290 and 279's. When I shot my first one, I relaxed andf two weeks later I shot another one.
the first was the hardest because regardless what look you had or how good you were throwing the ball you have never been in situation before. The second was easier because when i got up there in the 10th i said to myself ive been here before and i can do it again no problem
my first one was the hardest and strangest, brookland strikes in the 3rd,5th, and all three in the 10th frame. i had plenty of games where i hit the pocket solid all 12 frames and only had 279s, 259s, and 268s to show for it. My second 300 game i had all solid pocket strikes.
EVERY ONE I SHOT IS EQUALLY AS HARD BECAUSE THE RESULT OF SHOOTING A 300 IS PERFECTION. AND ANY GOOD BOWLER KNOWS THAT IT IS THE ULTAMATE GOAL OF ANY BOWLER IS PERFECTION. ROLING 300S NEVER GETS OLD BECAUSE AS YOU GET OLD THE GAME CHANGES AND SO DOES YOUR ABLITIES FROM INJURIES AND AGE. SO IN ORDER TO ACHEAVE THAT PERFECTION YOU HAVE TO CONSTANT REINVENT YOUR GAME.
They both felt the same to me. I had thrown the front 11 numerous times prior to my first 300 so i was nervous i just tried to focus more. Even that doesnt help. Ive stoned acouple 8 pins, ringing 10s on the 12th ball to shoot 299 on good shots so i get the same feeling everytime i get an opportunity to be perfect for a game.
My first one was the hardest I really thought I would throw it in the gutter 2 3 & 4 were ok.
it took me 4 years to bowl my second one, but to me they are all hard
I have only been bowling for 5 years and I'm 47 years old and in my 2nd Year I shot 290 and picked up the 6-7-10 split in the 1st frame to do it. Followed by 3 or 4 weeks of throwing the front 8. I stated to myself "If I get past the front 8 I'm gonna throw it". I shot the front 9 (YEH) and on ball 12 I could not feel my legs or for that matter any part of the lower body group, and I told myself "You have done this before, just throw it like the other 11. I did!! Wow what an honor! I had the exact same feeling on my second 300. My 3rd 300 however, I was fully aware of what I was doing and it is my favorite because I saw every ball leave the deck center mass and to this day I wear that 300 Ring as a reminder that no matter how old or new you are "you just never know when Glory is going to strike" and for that matter 12 x's.
