Hey papo thanks for adding me to your friends list. Thanks for the info on the pattern. I'm hoping I'll do good man and finish atleast in the top 10. I heard Greg is the man to beat. He's next to explode in the pba man. He needs to get on tour. The boy is badddddd.....MONSTRO.... Bien ..........
Hey thank Tim. Panama is the place to vacation, and to retire man. I have a website www.ThinkPanama.com. I'll see you guys on DEC 7, I was just wondering what type of pattern you guys lay out?
My pro shop is in AMF Woodstock lanes. I am the pro shop that Charles Jordan represents along with MoRich. I am hoping to start bowling tournaments again and I was always better on a tougher shot. I hope to be able to work with you in the future for advertising on some level. Keep up the good work.
Yes, I wish they had more ladies as well. I was disappointed with the organizers, they led me to believe they had more. Nevertheless, I had a good time and met some nice talented ladies. As Richard Smock told me, its time to get my feet wet. So thats what I am doing. See you in December
Thanks for the welcome Tim. I think we unofficially met when I was bowling in Marietta a few weeks ago. I was talking with Ms. Cicely and I think you were there.
I have your flyer for the ladies tournament in December and plan on coming. I also have a couple of ladies that hopefully they will show up as well.
Yes, I know Churchey and Smock. Two bowlers I respect and admire.
There is no hurry for the men's tourney flyer...With the women's, I wanted to make sure that they had time before the Nov 8th early bird special. Alot of women asked me what kind of shot would be out...I told them I would let them know. I just hope even a few show up!!
Hey I just wanted to let you know that I got called to sub in Newnan tonight and I made copies of the Real Ladies flyers to pass out to the women in this league. There are about 15-20 bowlers in this league that I know can compete but I don't know if they will. I also will be taking them to my league on Wednesday and Thursday night to pass out to the women there. If you want me to, I am going to practice in Anniston, AL this weekend, I can make more copies and drop them off there, too. Megan
what's up Tim it's Ken. We had a few more entries than last month, 28 entries. We are slowly going in the right direction. Tom Wall from Fayetteville, N.C. beat Brian Dennis in the final 199-180. The leader shot 1200 and the cut was 1098 for 5 games. Scores were alittle higher because we played on a wood surface with guardian in the 1st 22 ft. I am pleased so far. Eveything is running smoothly and the scoring pace is about what I wanted to see. The average leader after 2 tourneys is 225 and 9th is 202 based on 10 games min. 70% of the field has averaged 190 or better and 54% of the field has averaged 200+. I think these modified house patterns that I am running will do well. Everyone has said that they find it to be a challenge but not impossible to figure out. I won't be able to make your 1st stop but do plan to show up when possible. Later.
I really don't know how to take a compliment but I think that was a compliment...so thank you. I couldn't agree more about the tournament. I was truly happy even though I didn't make much money. I enjoyed the experience. I hope that we can grow the circuit in Atlanta as well. There is room for everyone and I will continue to support your efforts as well. I want to bowl in Something For the Ladies since it is my birthday...any idea what time it will be over?..I will be going to SC after I bowl.
Well it has a double meaning...in one setting it stands for my initials "WC"..like the rapper from the Westside Connection...on the other hand, a guy that I dated was comparing me to a car and said that I was a "Big-Bodied Benz" sitting on dubs..."large luxury car"...started calling me Dubs after that...it was catchy so it has stuck with me for the last 8 years...I know, TMI.....................Thank you for the support, we will keep trying, I know that it isn't as easy as people say it is but I am committed to making it work
Thanks a lot Tim...it was a lot of fun and it gave me the "itch" to bowl some more tournaments :) I'm going to try and catch more of the realbowlers events this season....look forward to seeing you then. When Greg ran off the first 4 on me I pretty much knew where my tournament was going to end up :) He's been on an incredible run and I knew when he had a look he wasn't going to miss much at all.
Thank you Tim. I appreciate that. I actually will participate in some of your tournaments this year. I just wanted to make sure I was ready. I am getting ready for December because I know that you will have a lot more participation this year. You guys really run good tournaments. Anyway just wanted to holla back at you. Take care.
It was a nice tournament in Marietta. I lost in the championship match to Quantrelle 197-214. i have never bowled in a tournament format like that. It was interesting. It is nice to know that there is a solid foundation for women's bowling down here. I am looking forward to the tournament in December. I am trying to get some of my Northern ladies to fly down for the tournament. I do have to ask...I saw the posting for the Holiday tournament the next day after the ladies tournament...is it "frowned" upon for woment to bowl in the men's tournament down here? Just curious. Love the website!
