NFL- NFC/AFC Championship Game Picks

Well fellaz, it has come down to this. There are only 4 teams still standing, the Eagles, Cards, Steelers and Ravens. I believe Cynthia from Richmond, VA predicted all four correct teams and she showed us all that the ladies know a thing or two about football. Who will be the two teams in the Superbowl????????? My prediction is........Cardinals and Steelers. Stop laughing about the Cards, they are for real......they have offensive weapons and a relentless post-season defense(noticed i said post-season) because no one saw this "D" all season. The Steelers will take down the Ravens they have hit there groove and look unstoppable. Those are my picks........WHO YOU GOT????????

My emotions say Arizona, Pittsburgh. I learned the first week not to go with my emotions so my picks will be.
Philly and Baltimore. Philly will go on to win the Super Bowl.

I will give out another $20 Longhorn gift card if you pick your Super Bowl winner this week You have to pick both games and who wins the Super Bowl. If more than one person srry has to be only one person to win.

btw don't forget about the RealBowlers Tour Super Bowl Scratch Tournament that morning :)

What's up Theo,
I love it when a plan comes together. I'm in a no lose situation, because no matter the outcome there will be a PA. representative in the Superbowl just like I said. All PA baby all PA. Pittsburgh of course then Philadelphia,but even if Arizona makes it pass Philly Ken Whisenhunt the Arizona coach is from Pittsburgh and their best reciever Larry Fitzgerald is from the University of Pittsburgh. Pa. baby Pa!

I like Arizona and Baltimore in the superbowl and arizona winning.
Boldin is coming back for the Cards that gives philly one more body to guard close and their blitz scheme benefits Warner, he plays better and gets in a groove quicker when he has to get rid of the ball quickly. Actually Arizonas D has been there all year, just no one knew about it, their pass defense was ranked 5th all year which isnt bad and their run defense has stepped up in the playoffs, but thats what they are supposed to do step it up when it matters the most.
Pittsburg has nothing for Baltimores D. In my opinioin Big Ben is over rated just a tad.

Normally i will go with defense over offense but in this case for my superbowl pick i think the Cards are the exception. There hasnt been an offense this strong in a while.

As I stated before, if you play defense in January then, you will be playing in February. Three great defensive teams (Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia) and one team (Arizona) playing their best defense of the year. Should be two good games. I will pick Baltimore and Philadelphia with Baltimore winning the big one. That's the way I see it. That's the way it ought to be.

Theo , Go ahead and hold that Longhorn Gift Card for the Laneshark. These cats are way off. Here's my picks and why. Can I get a free entry for your tourney if I pick the correct score. I'm better than the Swam at this . Pittsburgh will handle the Ravens in a close fought game . Theyn haven't beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh when the Steelers have a record of 10-6 or better since those clowns left Cleveland and relocated to that armpit city of Baltimore. Joe Flacco is a rookie and that will show u in a title showdown, especially against the #1 overrall defense in football. He had his worst game against the Steelers in Baltimore when the division was on the line. Also our running back is healthy and the whole team for the most part . Baltimore is walking wounded, 17 guys on the IR and another 12 doubtfuls, probables, any questionable. If the Steelers lose this game it will be because the coach does something stupid like Fake Punt on Steelers end of the field. What was he thinking. Final Score Steelers 23-13. Let's be serious about the the Cards. What a joke! Just another crappy team in a crappy division playing a losing team schedule. They went 6-0 against there divisionwhich was only 13-35. Niners had 7 of those wins and would have had the same record as Cards if they would have converted on 3 and 4 to goal on that Monday night game. Phily is on a hot run much as the Steelers and Giants last few yearsd. Hard to go against the mo.

Need More space!!! Eagles have the #3 overall defense and should blitz Warren. Take note Panhers if you Blitz Warren he will fold like a $3 lawn chair! Cards are #19 overall defense, #16 against the run and #22 against the pass. The only thing they have in their favor is that it's a home game . Eagles beat them, no I'm sorry STOMPED them 48-20 on Thanksgiving night. Alot of folks may not know that if they don't have the N.F.L. ticket. I saw it. That was the start of the Eagles run. Final score Eagles 28-17. Super Bowl winner Steelers over Eagles 26-23. Steelers lost to Eagles early in the season at Phily 15-6. Steelers started season with a complete new O-line. Thats why Big Ben was sacked so much. Running game is back and O-line coming together looks like the Steelers of 2005. Time to start another collection of rings on the other hand. Theo, If Steelers make Super Bowl I will see you guys on March 1st. Tell everyone that I 'm guaranteeing $1000 to win this sunday jan. 18th in Morganton, N.C. Should have a good crowd. Come up if you guys can. Might be a good time to promote your tour.

Umm if im not mistaken I believe Warner, not warren, didnt fold in that Thanksgiving game the cardinals defense got beat by McNabb having a career day. Also everyone knows its almost impossible to beat a team 3 times in a single season. Also Warner preferrs to be blitzed by defenses so he can dump the ball off quick to his sure handed fast recievers. He has more weapons now than he did when won a title in St. Louis. Baltimore's defense is playing the best of the teams left in the playoffs. Realistically it doesnt matter what you did during the regular season, what matters is how you play currently and as a team, both offense and defense, arizona is doing better than all teams remaining.
Baltimore hasnt had an offense on their team in almost 5 years but they still win games. I like their defense to keep big ben guessing and under alot of pressure. Joe Flacco will be the biggest concern on the Ravens team without question.

i am going to pick the eagles in the NFC and the steelers in the afc with the eagles winning the superbowl by a slim margin probably 23-20 I think

My pick in the SuperBowl is Steelers over Cards 28-14. Pittsburgh has the most complete team of the remaining teams on both sides of the ball. The difference maker could come down to special teams play and the Steelers are far superior. The Cards are a intriguing team because they have a offense loaded with weapons and a QB who knows how to deliver in big games......with all that said, the Steelers will win. Big Ben will get the win.

Its all good. thanks for the directions. Im making no promises, however i am gonna try and make plans to bowl. Daphne will be in atlanta bowling, hopefully making money, so arrangements will have to made for the little one.
