Can't wait!!!!
Will the format be the same as your other RBT events?
Yes, the format is everyone bowl 5 games, cut field in half bowl 3 more games, cut to the top 8 for match play.

Am I reserving you a spot?

Just my personal opinion, you should all the RBT's on saturdays.
I will be there. : )
Nick we try to book our events on Saturdays, the problems there are hardly any centers that will give up those days for tournaments. Open bowling rules.
As you let me know you are coming, I will add your name to the reserved spots list.
Tim I completely understand what you are saying. In a perfect world you guys could make that happen. You can count Daphne and myself in for the tourney. See you guys there.

P.S. Theo, point standings. Just a reminder. :-)
Just 1 thing!!! If you're paying $50 for high series per block. How is that fair to the bowlers that only bowl 5 gms? LIke I said before if you have a slow start and then finished on fire you should be eligible for that money until you cut to top 8!!!!! Some bowlers are going to bowl better on the fresh and some when the condition opens up!!! If you noticed at the last one at Marrietta I shot +10 for the 1st 3 then +94 for the next 2 to barely make the cut into top half. I then went around atleast 10 people to cash. There are other bowlers that didn't bowl well until later because of equipment and not being able to hook the ball as much as others!
Akil, please click on the link below so I wont have to repeat everything.

Just to add to this post, if you are not in the top half after 5 games you definitely will not be top qualifier after 8 games. Not with the field of bowlers that we attract. So, I am not sure where you are coming with the not fair, in this format.

So, with all of your good bowling in Marietta, with the way that you are suggesting you would not have cashed because it would not have been a 1:4 payout ratio.

I am with Theo. You have to understand that everyone is not going to be pleased with every aspect of how the tourney is ran. They cant set up a tourney to please one person.
I was not saying anything about the 1:4 payout. I was just asking why is there a cut to 1/2 the field after 5 and that doesn't garantee you anything? Unless their is reduction in the cost of lineage. I would see a increase in bracket play which also benefits whomever is running brackets. I do like the top 8 format!!! I was just voicing my opinion. Hell I've been doing this since '95.
