The stage is set and the NBA finals is now upon us. The two teams left are the Kobe LAKERS and D. Howard MAGIC.....everybody knows i am a serious LAKER HATER. My bet is definitely with the MAGIC, they have a well balanced team with too many weapons for the Lakers to handle. I also feel like the Lakers are too soft, Odom disappears from game to game, Gasol is soft, Fisher is old, Ariza is sporadic, Bynum is clumsy, and KOBE is greedy and still thinks he's MJ reincarnated.LOL!!!! I'm pulling for the MAGIC because Dwight Howard is a product of the SW Atlanta area and he's a young, competitive, dominant all- star that stepped up with his team when it mattered the most. They will prove all there doubters wrong just like they did against the Celtics and Cavs. Kobe is chasing the dream of winning a ring without SHAQ..... it not going to happen so give it up. Theo i know you probably have alot to say about my analogy.....it is what it is!!!! LOL!!!! If the LAKERS wins this series i'll give KOBE his props, but until then, he's just another MJ wannabe who cant get the job done no matter who they put him on team with. Holla at ya boy!!!!! ;)

Hey hey fellaz, its just one game. yes the Magic got stomped in that first game. The Lakers were playing at home where they are very good and their defense took away the 3-ball by disrupting the passes on the perimeter which causes the shooters to rush there shots. The Magic coaching staff will come up a way to cure that problem. Jameer Nelson looked good when he got in there he will knock off the rust and be more of a factor in game 2. Howard need to be more aggressive offensively and put more pressure on the Lakers "D". I believe game two will set the tone for the rest of the series.......Magic do your thing!!!!
Ha Ha Ha Theo!!!! You know you are soooooo funny Laker Lover!!!! I'm really curious to see how the Magic rebound at home tonite from that close defeat on Sunday. Whats pissing me off is how the Orlando news media is crapping on Howard like its his fault the Magic lost two games on the road in the NBA finals. And questioning his heart and commitment and comparing his to Kobe's is crazy. Just hope the unwarranted criticism dont affect his game for the remainder of the finals. They did the same thing to Shaq back in 95' and look at what he did.....left and went to the Lakers and won him some rings. They need to leave that man alone and let him play his game just like he did against the Celtics and Cavs. If Orlando dont want Howard, we(THE HAWKS) will take him.:) Theo where are you watching the game?? I might come over to the crib and give you grief while the Magic spank the Lakers tonite....hit me up.
Sure, come on over. You can use some of Moriahs baby wipes for your crying at the end of the game.

Seriously, you are right, the Orlando fans can't be like Atlanta and expect to win a championship on your first stab at it. Although, they do have a strong enough team, experience is the invaluable thing that gets you over the hump. Plus, I feel Dwight Howard needs another star player on that team with him.
Alot of people don't realize that, Kobe has been doing this for alot of years, this is his sixth Finals apperance and he already has 3 CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS. So, it is hard to compare a younger player like Dwight Howard or even Lebron to him because that experience counts for alot.

Thats good stuff Theo. Its not looking good for the Magic but if they come out in the 2nd half the way they started the game then they will be straight, but they are going to have to learn how to finish a game. Just like in bowling its great to do well the first 8 frames but if you cant hit em in the 9th and 10th you will lose 80% of the time. If you cant make shots in the closing minutes you will almost always lose.

Well, Nick you were right about one thing, the Magic (would go home) in 5 if they get hot and stay hot (temper). lol

Way to call it Wanda!

Tim, I have no words for you. ;0

Sincerely,

The Black Mamba, #4

Wow Tim. I myself think the Magic win for the several reasons. 1) They are way to big for LA. with Howard, Lewis, and Turkoglu as starters. 2) They shoot the ball very well as a team, meaning all of them can shoot. 3) They will beat them with their defense. They are going to do the same thing they did to Cleveland which is make the supporting cast step and beat them. They let lebron get his all he wanted but no one else could get anything going because its hard to play 4 on 5. Thats what they will do against LA, Kobe will get his ofcourse but the rest of the Lakers will struggle. Im saying it will be a sweep but a win in 6 is very possible, maybe 5 if the Magic get hot and stay hot.
Congrats to the Los Angeles Lakers and their fans. Great series. There were a lot of great teams this year (Lakers, Magic, Jazz, Cavaliers, Celtics) but, the Lakers played well at key periods down the "stretch". The only game that the Lakers lost against the Magic, the Magic shot 62% from the field and only won by 4. The Lakers played outstanding in the Finals. Once again, congratulations.
