There are many great women bowlers in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. So why is it so difficult to have tournaments for the ladies? I just want to get some feedback from the ladies to see how we can have tournaments for those ladies who want the challenge. I asked Tim, if I could just poll the ladies to see if there are those who would be interested in bowling tournaments like the RBT. I suggested starting out with maybe 3-4 stops in the surrounding area. If you are interested or have any suggestions please respond to this discussion.

I am very interested in participating in something like that. I think it would be a great idea! I have always wondered why it is difficult to have a ladies tournament myself. I often see the same women at every tournament. I wish that we could have a tournament with just as many women and money as the men have! They could start out with 3-4 stops like you suggested.
I would love to see something like this for the bowlers. Years ago in Michigan we had a group called the Midwestern women. Women like Cheryl Daniels, Aleta Sills, Dede Davidson and some more top professional women honed their games in monthly tournament around the Michigan area. It would be a good tool for women to become more competitve in the world of bowling.
I too would be interested in these tournaments. I have to say after bowling with men for so long (been bowling since i was 5 and kind of grew up in my Dad's bowling crew) it was empowering and refreshing to be surrounded by so many talented females gathering at one location. I placed 6th at the S4TL tournament and that was my first major tournament i've bowled in. It was fantastic, fun and a great experience that i would love to do over and over again in the future!! Count me in!!!
I just relocated to Atlanta from Ohio and I am so excited to see that there's a tournament almost every weekend. I not afraid to bowl with the guys, but I would definnitely attend any ladies tournaments nearby or ones I have to travel to.
I would love to participate in something like this! After moving up from youth where there was nothing for girls... i realize there is not a whole lot for women either. I am all about some womens tournaments. (Preferably Sundays due to job haha) Would love to see more tournaments on sport shots also!
I would be very interested in more women tourney's as well. I was just talking abount how 1 a year in Atlanta is just not enough.
I agree 100%!!! I said that to my husband as well on our way back home from the tournament on Saturday :)

I'm interested too. When I moved up from youth (it's been longer than it seems...), I didn't really know of any scratch tournaments for women, so it is nice to see a few. I didn't know about the S4TL last year, but I have bowled the Princess/Queens a couple of times before. It's fun to compete and see how many talented ladies there are in the southeast.
I would love to participate in a RBT tournament for the ladies. There are many ladies that can compete but I'm not sure why they don't come out. I truly enjoy the Something for the Ladies tournament.
