The RBT kicked off the new 2010-11 season Saturday, December 18th at AMF Marietta Lanes, with the 7th annual Holiday Scratch Tournament. We witnessed an exciting field infused with 51 new and returning participants gunning to win the title.
The RealBowler of the Year points races begain...we also crowned 2010 RealBowler of the Year, Greg Black Jr. winner of $1000, the RBOY Trophy and a RBOY jacket.
The sportmanship and comraderie amongst the bowlers was high as participants from all the surrounding states came to witness the "RealBowlers difference".
We gave away over 12 giftcards (Longhorn, Applebees, etc) and one lucky bowler took home the new Columbia Ransom bowling ball courtesy of AMF Marietta Lanes. Big kudos to Tommy Dunn, General Manager at AMF Marietta and his wonderful staff for excellent service as always.
The man of the day was lefty Randy Miles Jr. of Kennesaw, Ga...he beat a tough field of bowlers winning the title, $1500.00 and the coveted RBT trophy. Also, congrats to runner up Darrel Ratliff of Monroe, NC and Jake Washington of Hiram, GA for being the Top Qualifier of the day.
Thanks to all the supporters and participants that helped make this a special event. Looking forward to seeing everyone Jan. 16th at the 2nd annual Douglasville Scratch Open. Log on to
