A couple of weeks ago I was able to attend a Ladies Tournament here in Atlanta. Even though it was not a very large field their were some tough and impressive women bowling. As we prepare for our upcoming season our first stop will be a Ladies Tournament on December 6th. But my question since I am kind of green to Lady bowlers is: Who are the Best Female Bowlers in the South?

So far we have: (per your responses)
1.Tinickia Fleming
2.Quantrelle Green
3.Andrea Lofstrand
4.Paulette Sanders
5.Tesa Dyson
6.Vicki Mann
7. Lucy Sandelin
8. Lisa Wagner
9. Allison Wilkerson
10. Daphne Buelterman
11. Kate Vanderhoef
12. Connie Fleming ??
13. Tameka Jackson
14. Megan Kimbler
15. Vanina Carlton
16. LaTonya Walker
17. Tonya Joseph
18. Elizabeth Carter
19. LaToya Williams
20. Aesha Turner
21. Cathy Hovator-Hill

LaTonya Walker REALLY did great this weekend at the Scratch fest thing...on a VERY HARD shot ...that I saw guys like "well I better not say their names.. and there were MANY" who could barely breaking 130...or 140.

I just want to add three names to the list of some females i had the opportunity to watch bowl this weekend. Megan Kimber, whom Theo already mentioned throws a very good ball. Tonya Joseph, and Elizabeth Carter. These three ladies definitely warrant being placed on the list.
Carl can you help us recruit these ladies down for the tournament in December. :)

Out of the greenville, sc area I would say Tee Fleming and Daphne Buelterman. Tee's mom Connie is also one of the top female bowlers in our area. Lee Vanderhoef's wife Kate is in the mix too.
I gonna say Daphne Smith is one of the best females i have seen, along with Tee Fleming. Daphne is my wife so ofcourse she gets my vote but never the less she has so much versatility for a woman its scary. Tee and I grew up bowling together through juniors and now in adults and she has always been at the top of everything she bowls in. Its just crazy how she always finds a way to win.
Dont know about the other greenville girls but Daphne will be there in december.
Well from bowling all over the South I'd have to give Vickie Mann some props! I've been knowing her for about 12 yrs and she won some mens scratch tournaments that some of the guys on TV now were in. She's been out the game some because of family but I'm pretty sure if she decides to pick it back up she will be one of the best.
Thank you to those of you that added my name to this list.
For those of you that don't know, I just recently got married, Buelterman is no longer my last name. I am now a Smith. I will be at the ladies tourney next month.
Congratulations Mrs. Smith we look forward to meeting you at the tournament.
I believe I have some footage of you bowling at the Atlanta Ladies.

I'm not exactly sure where we cut off territory for the South but I have seen this young lady LaToya Williams out of Texas twice here in Atlanta and I have to add her to the list. Watched her bowl in the TNBA mixed doubles and she is almost :) as impressive as Tinickia Fleming on my list.
Ok, I have to add one more. The young lady that bowled in the S4TL tournament, Aesha Turner. I think she just move to Alabama from up north but she was quite impressive as well. Almost up there with Tinickia and LaToya :)
I would say Tinickia Fleming is the best in this region.
I would say Cathy Hovator-Hill out of Huntsville, Alabama. I've seen her up against a lot of men and she seems to find a line no matter what the condition.
