1st off I'm glad I am back home this time last year I was dealing with the fact of being gone.

Just a little history or info. bowling in florida opened my eyes to so much which changed my game for good I had no choice but to get better, bowling in that area of Naples, and Cape Coral would love to have the tournaments and leagues with payouts we have it good up here and it just pisses me off to here the crap that comes out of so called players that do nothing but sit around and cry and complain about shots or certain bowlers. First, don't be mad that the guys that can play are better than you we have sacrificed time, body, and just hard work to be where we are don't be mad with us be mad with yourself.Stop talking about what you have done somewhere else and then your track record here has no teeth or marit. Secondly, the same guys that keep crying want the shot to be tough but then cry when it's tough then the same crowd cries when the shots are easy just face it if you can Play then it doesn't matter what you bowl on! It amazes me how so many sit back and talk about everyone else that are  out there grinding regardless if they win at least they are out there trying unlike yourselves sitting back and making yourself seem like you know so much but haven't done anything but talk about the guys, and ladies that have done big things this is the only sport that punishes you for being good and you premadonna's sit back and add fuel to the fire. These are bowlers I respect cause I know they have played and don't worry about shots they just bowl some from the North and from the South,  gave up alot to be where they are, to all the crybabies just shut up and play if not get the HELL out of the way and Shut up!

I will say no more Sir Charles. I'm going to sit in my rocking chair, and stay out of your way. Wake me up when you do something.

Wow Mr. Taylor dont really know how to take that from you cause u are one of the players that don't complain but just bowl. Was that a shot at me for saying what others are thinking but are scared to say cause they know who i'm talking about! But honestly I may not have done as much as others but in my short career I have been blessed to accomplished things that others in my generation haven't Wow now this is Shocking!

I'm very sorry Mr Jordan, I did think you were referring to me  because I have been complaining about things in Atlanta. I attempted to delete my reply after I transmitted it but it didn't work. I apoligize for my remarks, you are an excellent young bowler with a bright future. I must be getting paranoid in my old age.

Getting to the main subjects of lane conditions and handicaps, I'm sure in the last 5-10 years, every house in America has found fair conditions, not too difficult, not too easy. Why can't they stay with that? Because they listen to the losers complaints and start changing everything. Handicaps aren't enough for them to compete so they have the lanes made into obstacle courses to slow down the better bowlers. Lowering scores and raising handicaps (90% is ridiculous, what happened to 70% and 80%?) isn't the answer.

We're supposed to be enjoying the game. We all need to get together and figure this thing out.

Well, let me add my two cents to the discussion.  I agree Charles.  Just bowl.  If the shot is tough for me then, it's tough for you.  If the shot is easy for me, then, it's easy for you.  Play on what you are given.  Everyone has practice time and 10 balls to choose from.  Make the right selections for your game.  Congratulate the players when they are out on the grind and playing well.  Don't hate.  The only thing that I don't understand is that the scratch bowlers complain the handicap leagues and tournaments but,  give them a scratch league (Tuesday at AMF Marietta) or scratch tournament (Real Bowlers and One Ball Thats All) and they do not participate. Why???   39 bowlers in a scratch league.  Low entries in scratch tournaments???  Does not make sense to me.  The McNair brothers put together great leagues and tournaments but, where are the so called players???  Curt guarantees a top prize.  Where are the so called players???

I agree there are a lot of talkers...and I guess that I can be classified as one now.  I used to get out and play but after a horrible slump for two years, and now with my schedule the way it is I'm a 3 game a week hack.  I guess maybe I don't count because I don't talk anymore...I just accept my position and let the big dogs do what they do.  I only get time with my kids on Saturday afternoon and Sundays now so I cherish that time.  That and the fact I took almost a year off and haven't been able to find an consistent armswing since then :)

There are way too many bowlers in this city that think of themselves highly though to not have more turnouts at these tournaments.  It's really sad when you try to guarantee money for tournaments and only get 30 folks to show.  I mean there are over 150 people averaging 220 in this city......really?

Yeah only thing about your comment u think that the ones who grind out only grind out on dry lanes cause the lanes stay dry.  All we ask is that the volume of oil on lane is high enough to allow crankers to use high tech balls then the complaints won't happen.  You know if the volume of oil was high in the middle of the lanes to where u bums who don't have any hand were trying to play down and in and pulled it the ball would back up and wash out but you know how the so called great bowlers in this city would complain.  They would be upset cause now the guys throwing plastic and urethane would be throwing high tech balls and it would be no hope for so called good bowlers who never took a lesson who have all types of bad habits who fall off balance.  We all know this is a dry lane bowling atmosphere USBC made it that way but it wanted bums to be able to compete with the dope crankers of the world.  But hey us crankers know that every ten years they change atmosphere of lanes so we can't wait till the oil comes back thank u Jesus!

Randy whats easy to u is definately going to be hard for me cause u throw it straight whats hard for u will prob be easy for me cause I like to rip it.  So that makes no sense what your saying.

Sure you have bowlers that haven't done squat that cry and complain ( I expect such behavior from the newbies) but there are plenty of elite / professionals that are even bigger pansies. Seems complainers / cry babies come in all ages, shapes , colors, and skill levels.
